This one of a kind doll was originally a Mattel Teresa doll.  She placed second in the 2005 IFDC Venetian Historical category. This doll has received a total facial repaint.  Her original facial screening was carefully removed and her face was repainted with artist quality acrylics and sealers.   Eyes are done in grey and french blue.  Brows are done in burnt umber.  Eye shadow is done in a mixture of french blue, and purple.  Eyelashes are painted on with pure black.  Doll's lips are painted red.  Fingernails and toenails are also painted red. 

Hair style was inspired by the Venetian courtesan in Dangerous Beauty.  Some hair was removed and braided into the small braid on the very top of her head.  Hair was then parted into 2 sections.  Top part was braided and pinned into a bun.  Bottom part was left long.  Gold seed beads were then glued to the top braid.

Doll's gown is a gorgeous embroidered red velvet fabric and is completely removable.  Underskirt is made from gold lame as are the sleeves.  Sleeves are trimmed with Venice lace, black gimp trim, gold metallic gimp trim, and red and gold braid.  Front of skirt is trimmed with the same gold trim as the sleeves.  Gown also has handed beaded accents at waist with long beaded chain in the front.  Beads include red, pearl and gold metallic seed beads.  Dolls earrings and necklace were also made with faux pearls and gold accents.  

Doll comes with stand and signed COA.
